The portals to the North Pole have melted away but will be back next winter. If you left your characters on the North Pole there is still a portal that will take you back to your sanctuary.

This year Santa is staying at the North Pole. Portals are located in every temple and in Hightower and Mylanta.

There is a return portal where you are teleported to. Santa is located in a house due south after crossing the bridge and around a frozen lake.
