here to Give boosts/buffs or help you level and they will run invasions when
they deem it appropriate!
Repeatedly
asking the GMs for help leveling/buffing or invasions is harassment
and may
result in your loss of Shouts for an undetermined length of time!
Our Language Policy
Offensive
Language (profanity, sex, drugs, Acronyms that shorts for cussing, masking ***)
On CC Main or
overhead chat will be a Violation and may result in Shout/Chat/Page removal -
Use Private
Channels for these discussions as they aren't monitored
be advised,
we have players that have the ability to turn shouts off,
so if you
abuse CC main you may loose shouts and may have to wait some time for a gm to
come on and restore them
There have
been a lot of complaints recently by a number of players about
offensive
language/discussion. Please understand Grapevine is a Family
Oriented
server.
This is the definition
of offensive on the Grapevine Server.
1. If it is
in the main cc and it can offend it is considered offensive
(even if no
offensive complaint is made). Shouts may be removed (discretion
of the GMs.)
2. If
offensive discussion is in a public area and it offends anybody
(complaint is
generated) it is considered offensive. Chat may be removed
(discretion
of the GM.)
There are
private channels and paging if explicit discussion is necessary.
Or find a
secluded area and have your chat, towns and shops are not
secluded. But
if somebody shows up; show some respect and ask if they
will be
offended? If so move on.

How to become a GM on Grapevine T4C
Step 1. If
you are interested in being a GM email me at
your logon
ID and character names and why you believe you would make a
good GM.
Keep it short, one or two paragraphs.
NOTE: A GM
must have a paying account on the server. This is required as
they do not get
special treatment in this matter. They will be issued a second
account that
will have the GM abilities. Their player account is to remain
without GM
boosts so that they can switch to be players for breaks. The second
GM account
is free while the member is a GM. If at any time the member
decides to
not be a GM the GM account and characters are purged.
Step 2. Will
be a vote by the players. Completely confidential. I will post when
the voting
is to begin. Also, players should email recommendations to me at
THERE WILL
BE NO CAMPAGNING. No promises by the potential GMs no
speeches, no
comparison between GMs on a public forum. The reason is that
the GMs are
to be selected based on merit of the past. As players it is
important
that you pick a GM that will be helpful, fair and honorable. If you
pick
somebody because they promised to give you something due to voting for
them, you
will get screwed in the end.
Step 3.
Existing GMs will give me a confidential rundown on the top GMs voted
for.
Step 4. I
will go over past logs, interview players in private and determine the
best
possible GM. Although all the above steps will be considered, winning a
vote will
NOT mean becoming a GM. As a matter of fact the VOTES WILL
NEVER BE
PUBLISIZED. It will be completely closed.
Step 5. The
first GM(s) will be given some basic capabilities on a probationary
basis.
During this period (usually between 8-12 weeks) a GM can be removed
for any
reason.
